We opened our doors 3 years ago and have been fortunate to see our small animal veterinary practice grow rapidly.   Brookswood Animal Clinic is a fast paced modern veterinary hospital with a dedicated team of experienced and passionate doctors and staff.  What distinguishes us from other veterinary practices in the area is our exceptional customer service and patient care.  We believe in creating individual health solutions for each of our client’s unique pets.

Your Mission:

As a Brookswood Animal Clinic associate veterinarian, you will be expected to provide ethical veterinary medicine of the highest quality according to all applicable laws and codes and incorporate your own unique skills and expertise into the veterinary team.

Required Competencies and Experience:

Current Oregon DVM license without  interruptions/suspensions of licensing within the last 3 years 
Experience managing heavy caseloads in a busy multi-doctor practice is preferred 
Comfortable with dental procedures and a wide variety of soft tissue surgeries
Must be extremely goal orientated and performance driven
Must be an excellent communicator with a high affinity for clients and staff

Appropriately diagnosed and treated patients 
Happy clients who are better educated regarding how to care for their pets
Clients who accept and pursue recommended treatment plans presented to them for their pets care 
Clients who continue to use our practice for their pet’s care and who actively refer others to us for care. 

Some Basic Job Functions:

Use your education and experience to provide the highest quality preventative care, diagnoses, and treatment for every pet you see
Perform all common surgeries, including use of all standard medical instruments, equipment, and protocols
Partner with clients to plan follow up visits, provide home care instructions, and educate to ensure long term health of their pets
Maintain relevant, comprehensive, and prompt medical records

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary of $68,000 - $75,000, based on experience and performance record.  
Production rate of 18% - 20%, based on experience and performance record.
$1500 per year Continuing Education allowance
Paid AVMA and COVMA dues
Paid Professional Liability Insurance
Paid DEA licensure 
Immediate eligibility for Health Insurance and Retirement Plan
Paid Holidays after six months and Paid Vacation after one year
